A Sense of being Refreshed

 Ah, time for a fresh start. Open up the windows, clean the house, purge the gross winter germs.... Who am I kidding?! It's still hovering around 35 degrees here! We did get to 40 something the other day and the windows did open up for a bit. 

Despite what the weather may hold for us, Spring tends to give me a sense of "new" and a fresh start. Any day with the sun shining is welcomed and gives hope for the future! Recently I was able to sit down with a friend at a café and chat. The sun was shining, we had good food, and were sharing life with each other. Well, adoption is a natural topic now-a-days and I was discussing the steps were are taking to move forward with adoption. However, I shared that I have felt stuck and needed to lift ourselves off of paper. 

Well, this lovely friend stated to try short videos of us just doing life with each other. The goal is to eventually have a longer video of us put together, but for now, why don't we have fun displaying how we enjoy each other and share life?! That's a genius idea!

A huge thank you to my family for allowing me to take a brief video of what a typical family night looks like! (By-the-way, happy birthday to Auntie!!) I think it's easier to get my family's support for adoption than it is to get their support to take video of them...! 

The future videos will be placed on their own page in the blog. Highlights coming to you soon may include: baking adventures, planting/gardening, sports/outdoor play, and more family adventures.
